How to stay with us

  • You can directly request to stay at Reservoir. We also accept referrals from hospitals, outpatient programs, justice partners, and families.

  • If we have an open bed and you are a good fit for our program, we will try to quickly find a place for you here.

  • We will explain any costs first. We work with Maryland Medicaid to fund the services we offer. Let us know if you have other insurance.

Our house

  • Located in north Baltimore’s Reservoir Hill neighborhood, next to beautiful Druid Hill Park and Druid Lake.

  • Walkable to the Maryland Zoo, the bus line, a local food bank and several 12 Step meeting sites.

  • Large 3-floor historic end-unit rowhome for up to 16 male residents. Every floor has 2 apartments with their own bathroom, kitchen, covered balcony, heating, air-conditioning, natural light, and scenic views.

  • Shared bedrooms and common areas that feel like a home. You’ll cook, clean, and follow routines that prepare you for independent living.

Life at Reservoir

  • Phase 1: For your first seven days, you will stay here 24/7 so you can adjust to the schedule and meet your peers. Though you can’t leave, you can still use your phone.

  • Phase 2: After your first week, you’ll spend your day seeking work or education, then return in the evening for group events. Each week, we will expect you to be part of:

    • 2 clinical groups

    • 1 personal therapy meeting

    • 1 medication management meeting

    • 1 optional goals group on Mondays

    • 1 optional house meeting on Sundays

  • Phase 3: When it’s time for you to leave Reservoir, you and your counselor will create a clear plan for what comes next. You will likely move to outpatient treatment, continue peer support, and keep working on goals like housing, jobs, and school.
